This luxurious bronze bust presents the impressive figure of a Bornean orangutan. The finely crafted yet highly massive monkey head is exclusively limited to 20 pieces and consecutively numbered. The bronze bust, which is a good 50 cm tall, is characterised by an impressive level of detail work which, on the one hand, reproduces an absolutely realistic-looking image of the great ape and, on the other, has a highly modern overall effect. Isolated polishing accentuates the dark animal sculpture. Additionally, the free-standing bronze bust bears the signature of the artist. It skilfully captures this species worthy of protection from the family of apes in bronze and unquestionably possesses a convincingly dominant charisma.
