The adjoining art object is a modern abstract female nude, which was made by the Portuguese artist Milo. The bronze statue, entitled “Contemplation”, is mounted onto a black, two-step marble base. The head of the figure seems to float in space, detached from the rest of the body; it is only connected with the body via the folded arms above the head. The sculpture is marked with the signature of the artist.

All of our products are a hand-made piece and created using the lost-wax-method. Every singe sculpture is chiseled and patinated by hand, therefore we have established a strict quality control system to ensure the high quality of our products.

Milo, a respected artist of Portuguese origin, has made a name for himself with his distinctive animal and erotic nude sculptures, a reputation that goes far beyond Portuguese boundaries. Milo completed a degree in Fine Arts and has since then been working as a freelance sculptor. With his wife and his son Pablo, also a promising, talented artist, he lives and works in the suburbs of Lisbon.
