The bronze military statue for sale here is a replica of the monument of Frederick the Great. The original statue is situated in Berlin on the “Unter den Linden” boulevard. Now you get the chance to get a smaller version of this unique monument for your own home. The impressive statue of the Old Fritz is a true eye-catcher on a desk or a shelf. Demanding the observer’s respect, the horse trots on the spot on an embellished base plate. This bronze statue is put on a classy marble base. Frederick II. became king in 1740, and in 1772, he was also crowned the king of Prussia. He furthermore carried the title of electoral prince of Brandenburg. This sculpture stands for the values of the enlightened absolutism.

Like all the other bronze products in our shop, this exhibit is also cast by hand and subject to our strict quality guidelines during its creation. Furthermore, all our sculptures are exclusively produced by using the lost wax technique.

The original source of the depicted monument can be observed on Berlin’s “Unter den Linden” boulevard. It was unveiled on 31st May 1851. That day was the 111th anniversary of Frederick the Great’s accession to the throne. His death was already 65 years ago in that year. Since the decease of the Prussian king, numerous important sculptors had been tasked with the erection of this monument. There are 100 designs and models for this equestrian statue of Frederick the Great. This work of art contains a lot of creative ideas and incomparable sculptural handicraft.
